Before AJ was born, we took Ellie to Build-A-Bear to make him a special "welcome to the world" present. She picked out this tiger and named him Tony (maybe at our suggestion? :-)

Anyhow, we will be taking a picture of AJ with Tony monthly, to show how fast he's growing!

We met up with Sherry Lane for our family pictures in October. She ROCKED it! She absolutely nailed every single aspect of our family dynamics. I'm so beyond thrilled with our pictures!

Our own Toy Story

Ellie decided that she wanted her and AJ to be Jessie and Woody from Toy Story for Halloween this year. Mom took a little creative license with the Jessie costume. Everything's better with a tutu :-)

Busy August!

August was a busy one for us! Kris and I celebrated our seven year wedding anniversary! Aunt Jen came over to sit with the kiddos and we went out for an amazing dinner and dessert!

AJ turned 7 months old. He's getting so big, crawling everywhere and starting to make all kinds of babbling sounds!

Ellie started preschool in August. She's going 2 days a week and she LOVES it! She loves her class and teacher.

This month we also started our basement bathroom renovation. We spent a TON of time bouncing around between Lowes, HD and several other home improvement places. The result is fabulous, but the kids miss driving the car cart at Lowe's several times a week. ;-)

Sibling love

I love how well the kiddos get along. I want to remember this afternoon, the way Little Man was laughing hysterically and PNut was making baby noises at him.....

Mostly, I want to remember it 10 years from now, when we're driving somewhere (probably far away to see family) and they are both screaming at me that the other won't leave them alone. Maybe I'll have this picture printed and I'll keep it in the visor. "don't you remember when you were 3 and all you wanted to do was hold hands and laugh?"

New Name/New Look!

Well, a few things have changed around here!

First off, this little guy has kept me busy!

Little Man was born on January 14, 2011 and our lives have been so busy since then! He's a ham, which fits perfectly into our family.

So we're starting a new chapter with the blog. We can't call it "As the Girl Grows" anymore, because we have a little dude that needs representation too. :-) And since we are always changing, always adapting, always progressing -- Always Growing.

Hoping to keep up more now - it's been rough. Little Man doesn't sleep really well yet (he just misses Mama in the middle of the night!) and my focus hasn't been stellar. But I miss having this outlet for our activities! I've missed blogging so many fun things over the last 8 months!
